You have so many things that you simply have no place to put them away? If your house always looks cluttered and untidy, our tips on how to organize the space will help you.

Only you will be able to organize storage space in such a way that it suits you. So turn on the fantasy and read our tips.

Start by inspecting your home. What things are lying on the floor and all kinds of surfaces, hanging on the backs of chairs and lying directly on the tables? You probably have your own personal arrangement of things in this chaos, but, in addition to the untidy look of the living area, you simply steal the space that you could use for other, more necessary and beautiful purposes.

Have you ever refused to let your friends have a party at your home just because your living room is full of things for which there is no storage space? And when was the last time the chair in the room was used as a chair, and not a coat hanger for coats and jackets?

You need to create a storage space that you will use, so think over it very carefully. From unusual solutions for small spaces to smart, innovative ideas - our tips will push you to the right storage arrangement.

Our top ideas for organizing space

  • Under the bed
  • Under the stairs
  • Multifunctional furniture
  • On the walls
  • In the storerooms

Under the bed

You probably already use the space under your bed to store all sorts of things, but it is unlikely you could get the maximum benefit from this space. Some beds are sold in built-in shelves and drawers, however, if your bed is not equipped with them, there are many ways to make them yourself. Store seasonal things like bulky winter sweaters or rarely used things in deep pull-out under-bed drawers, such as in a photo. And if you are still at the stage of acquiring a bed and at the same time lacking storage space, look for a bed with built-in drawers.

Under the stairs

There are two ways to use the stairs as storage space: either the stairs themselves as multifunctional shelves, or the space under the stairs where you can hang hooks, hangers and make drawers. The first option can cost you a pretty penny, but the potential of such a storage place is very high.

Multifunctional furniture

If you have a small place in the house, you should think about purchasing furniture items that simultaneously perform various functions. For example, an ottoman, which is used as a storage box for blankets or a sofa with a built-in coffee table.

On the walls

If you have limited space, you can use the whole wall or a part of it to create shelves from floor to ceiling, configuring them by your own design or by buying large shelves, as in the photo. Or maybe the whole thing is that you just need to remove the bike from the center of the hallway and install special wall fasteners for it? Whatever you need, in any house there are many walls that can be used to fix shelves, hooks and whole cabinets.

In the storerooms

Pantry is not in every home. And, even if there is, then it is often equipped in the best and most economical way. If on the floor in your bedroom there is a stack of bed sheets, maybe you should think about the normal arrangement of the pantry? For example, add a crossbar for hangers or attach another shelf with shelves and drawers.
